Democrats- FL and MI

For the first time in 7 years, all who are NOT neo-conservative have an opportunity to totally vote out this inept, capitalist, non-Republican administration. Look man between the Iraq War, foreign policy, domestic policy, national debt, Katrina and 'Brownie', How could a party not win this election???
Well the Democrats are trying.
Why in the hell would the Democratic Party NOT allow the votes of the People/ Citizens of the states of Florida and Michigan NOT count because of a timing issue??
What right do the leaders of the Democratic Party have to not allow the votes of the registered voters of these states count in a National Presidental Primary??
I'm still awaiting a rational, intelligent answer- it is a slap in the face to the Voters of these states- this is no better that the antics of the other guys

Preserves

The lastest craze in subdivisions seems to be an elaboration on the 'exclusive' community- the Preserve. These are popping up all over the place.

Lets take a look at this process- some filthy developer cons a group of investors to buy a piece of property (ususlly pristine- like a farm or wooded acreage) and cuts all the trees, grades the shit out of it, puts in golf and 'nature' trails, and limits the lot sizes to a whopping 1acre, sells at a premium.

Come on- give me a break.- Just take a drive through Flat Rock by Ken-manure and the other new developments that are forever scaring and destroying our landscape- Bastards!

incident number 37

This actually happened last week, but Damn!

Driving down the road during my lunch break on my way to check out some outdoor gear and such at Diamond Brand, and while enjoying (as much enjoyment as it can be) I was chomping down on a chewy granola bar and SNAP- broke not just a tooth but a crown- Damn it!

Got back to work, called my dentist, and find out he is leaving town in 1 hour for a conference out of town- double Damn!

That is typical of how things have been going- random events of pain and high cost in not a random, but frequent manner----

OK,

Lets see here, I've been fortunate to have pretty decent luck or turn of events in my life, but in the past several months, Damn!!!!, what is going on?

I go from healthy, normal-ish, even above-average life to ready to make a hit country western song.

I've had several health issues, unlikely chain of home failures/ repairs, cars break down, dog health issues, enough debt racked up in 6 months to buy a new car!!

But it's not all bad- I have a great family, a great relationship with my girlfriend and friends, and a great job- I think it will eventually work out.

But Damn!!!

So what follows is the good and bad(at this point mostly bad!) of what's going on.
